Requirements for International Graduate Students

After reviewing your program’s application process, international students should take the following additional steps:

  1. Submit your TOEFL or IELTS Score
    USciences’ TOEFL Code is: 2663
  2. If you attended an institution located outside of the United States, you must  have your transcript evaluated by World Education Services (WES)

Required documents

  • Application - Apply online. There is no fee for online applications
  • Official college transcripts from all colleges attended with all degrees documented. Transcripts from non-US institutions must be course-by-course evaluated by World Education Services (WES)
  • Statement of Professional Goals
  • All applicants must submit a 1000-word essay explaining specific short and long-term career goals that the program will help address. If the applicant is applying to be a MS (Thesis) or Ph.D. student, the applicant must identify at least two of the program’s faculty whose research interests align most closely with their own interests and describe why s/he perceives this to be so. The essay may be submitted as part of application, or as an email enclosure, or sent separately via postal mail
  • Resume or CV
  • Three written letters of recommendation

Conditionally Accepted Students

Conditionally Accepted Students must follow these steps to receive a full acceptance:

  1. Return a Conditional Acceptance Supplemental Form
  2. Stay in touch with the Graduate Admission Office staff about your plans: graduate@usciences.edu
  3. Submit proof of your English language proficiency (see options below) within one year of receiving your conditional acceptance.

Attend and complete ELC, Level 6, at Drexel University (Click for details)

The mission of the Drexel University English Language Center (ELC) is to provide the highest quality English language instruction and student services to English language learners and to prepare international students to participate fully in the university community. The ELC is located in the heart of the university district of Philadelphia and offers year-round English courses in listening and speaking, reading and writing, and a unique Language of STEM courses for students interested in the sciences, technology, and engineering. Submit official TOEFL scores of 90 or above
Submit official IELTS scores of 6.5 or above
Submit a transcript from a U.S. college/university indicating you have earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree from that institutions
If you are currently attending an unapproved program, contact the Graduate Admission Office immediately

Saudi Student Information

University of the Sciences welcomes applications from Saudi Arabian applicants under our agreement with the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission. This agreement allows admissible applicants to reserve a place in a future start term with the University while they pursue English training. Your academic program should relate to your previous undergraduate or graduate degree.
